Man killed in Iowa City Shooting
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a shooting killed a man in Iowa City late Saturday night.
Iowa City Police responded to reports of a shooting just before midnight in the 1800 block of South Gilbert Street. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he died. Police have not released the man’s name as they are working to notify the family.
The news release did not include any other details or suspect information and said police are still investigating.
